Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as an Authorization Request Specialist. In this part-time, in-person position, you will be responsible for submitting authorization requests for therapy and acupuncture services through an online portal. This role is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, strong data entry abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit authorization requests for therapy and acupuncture services through an online portal.
• Review patient information and treatment details to ensure accurate submission of requests.
• Track and follow up on submitted requests to ensure timely approval or response.
• Maintain clear and organized records of all authorization requests.
• Communicate with healthcare providers or insurance companies if additional information is needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical administration, insurance, or healthcare authorization is a plus but not required.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Comfortable using online portals and basic computer software.
• Ability to read and write English clearly and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.

Hours:
This part-time in-person position offers flexible hours, with an expected commitment of approximately 12 hours per week. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1-4 pm.
