Leading law firm is seeking an associate with at least three years of experience in bankruptcy, workout, or related commercial litigation to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group. The role includes representing lenders, both secured and unsecured creditors, and businesses in various restructuring and insolvency proceedings, including default resolutions, collections, repossessions, loan workouts, and bankruptcy matters in both federal and state courts. The position is based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and offers a great opportunity to gain sophisticated, hands-on experience in a successful bankruptcy practice with extensive client interaction. Familiarity with real estate, maritime, or energy law will be considered an asset. Candidates should be academically distinguished, with excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills, and be diligent, proactive, with sharp judgment and meticulous attention to detail. Ideal Candidate Candidates must have a strong academic background with a competitive GPA and 3 to 7 years of law firm experience after graduating from law school. No jumpy backgrounds.
