The Cyber Security Analyst works independently within the established procedures to ensure secure network access and protect against unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction of data and services. Responsible for maintaining and updating Cyber Security tools and systems required by the organization. The Cyber Security Analyst is expected to investigate and report security and compliance concerns within the organization. Continuous learning through “Relentless incrementalism” is a core team principle. Job Requirements Education Prefer: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field. Experience Required: Associate degree plus 4 years of experience or bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in Cyber Security and/or IT administration, including experience with relevant cyber security tools. Skills In-depth understanding of cyber security processes and related solutions Assist IT during transitions to new systems and workflows Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex issues and optimize system performance Utilize data to support decision making and improve operational efficiency and security Functions independently with limited assistance from senior team members Demonstrate proficiency in at least 30 cyber security skills. Licensure/Certification/Registration Preferred: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CEH, OCSP or other relevant certification
