Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer (QE) with a strong background in ETL testing and Snowflake to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on data validation, ETL pipelines, and cloud data warehousing.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Validate data transformations, data quality, and data integrity across various stages of the ETL process.
• Perform end-to-end testing of Snowflake data warehouse implementations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect tracking tools.
• Automate test cases where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• ETL Testing Expertise: Strong experience in testing ETL processes, data migration, and data integration workflows.
• Snowflake: Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data platform, including writing and validating complex SQL queries.
• Quality Engineering: Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• SQL Proficiency: Advanced SQL skills for data validation and test automation.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze large datasets and identify data quality issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
