Massage Therapist - Hospice at Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities summary:

A Hospice Massage Therapist provides specialized massage therapy to hospice patients to promote comfort and alleviate pain according to physician and interdisciplinary care plans. This role requires conducting patient evaluations, delivering comfort touch massages, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and the opportunity to support patients in their home environments.

Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist

• Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
• Provides comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
• Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.

A few must-haves for this position: 

• Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy
• One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
• Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
• Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
• CPR Certification required.
