Job Title: On-Call Rover – Unarmed Security Guard
Location: Greater Atlanta Area (Various Client Sites)
Status: 1099 Contractor | Flexible Schedule | $19.50–$21.00/hr

We’re seeking On-Call Rovers (Unarmed Security Guards) to join our elite team and support dynamic assignments across the greater Atlanta area. This is a true on-call position —there are no set schedules. Instead, shifts are offered based on your stated availability, and you’ll be called in with a minimum 4-hour notice . This role is ideal for flexible professionals looking to gain exposure across sites, grow into long-term opportunities, and work with a company that values professionalism, purpose, and polish .

• Conduct patrols and monitor client properties with vigilance and integrity

• Deliver a high-touch, white-glove service experience to clients and visitors

• Respond to emergencies and suspicious activity with urgency and professionalism

• Enforce site-specific access control and safety protocols

• Maintain clear and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations

• Represent HPG’s brand of excellence at all times

Minimum:

• Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation

• Ability to pass a criminal background check (required for offer)

• Must commit to at least 4 shifts per week , including 1 weekend shift

• Must respond to call-ins within 4 hours of shift start time

• Three (3) shift refusals may result in removal from the On-Call Rover program

Preferred:

• 1+ years in security, military, or public safety roles

• CPR/First Aid or other relevant certifications a plus

• Flexible hours between 6:00 AM – 6:00 AM , including weekends

• Must commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per week , with at least 1 shift on a weekend

• Shifts are offered (not assigned) based on your stated availability

• Rovers must be prepared to report for a shift within 4 hours of being contacted

• Base Rate : $19.50/hr + $1.50 differential for nights and weekends

• Attendance Bonus : $75/month for perfect attendance

After a 90-day probationary period , successful Rovers are eligible to transition into:

• Part-time or Full-time Guard Positions

• Site Lead or Supervisor Roles
