Job Description

Vidmob is the creative data company. Its scoring software and analytics have become an essential ingredient in the creative and media decisions of the world’s largest marketers and agencies, as they strive to drive business results through improved creative effectiveness. As the leader in creative data, Vidmob’s influence lies in its partnerships and integrations across the digital ad ecosystem, its dozens of proprietary models, and in operating the industry’s most robustly instrumented human-reinforcement learning model for creativity.

We are seeking a talented communications expert to join our marketing team as the sole in-house content and PR professional. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will work collaboratively with your marketing team colleagues while independently developing and executing communications and PR strategies that elevate Vidmob's brand, highlight our innovations, and position our executives as industry thought leaders.

This role requires a self-starter who can work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and drive PR initiatives with minimal oversight, and help manage and lead relationships with key industry publications and journalists. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and technology PR with a proven track record of securing media coverage and managing communications initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute comprehensive content and PR strategies aligned with Vidmob's business objectives

  • Serve as the primary content and PR point of contact for all internal stakeholders, managing expectations and prioritizing requests

  • Draft compelling press releases, media pitches, bylined articles, and other PR materials independently

  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts across tech, marketing, advertising, and business publications

  • Secure high-quality media placements that highlight Vidmob's technology, client success stories, and industry expertise

  • Support executive communications, including speaker placement, interview preparation, and thought leadership content

  • Monitor industry trends and news to identify PR opportunities

  • Establish and track PR metrics to measure impact and optimize strategies

  • Develop and maintain crisis communications protocols and manage issues as needed

  • Independently coordinate PR activities for product launches, company announcements, and industry events

  • Manage owned media properties - website and social media as communications vehicles in support of the communications strategy

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in PR, preferably in the tech, adtech or martech

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field

  • Proven track record of securing high-quality media coverage independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong media relationships in relevant industries

  • Experience with PR measurement tools and analytics

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling stories

  • Experience with PR software and tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater)

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage PR functions with minimal supervision

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Self-starter mentality with exceptional problem-solving abilities
