Sr. ETL Tester with (Ab Initio – Latest Version Exp.)

Job Description:

Years of exp: 8+ Years

Qualified candidates should be able to:

• Possess thorough understanding of ETL concepts; with proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to validate data transformation and integrity.
• Develop testing strategies and test plans, including functional testing, regression testing, negative testing, and deployment testing.
• Have ETL test automation experience.
• Abinitio Latest version exp. is must.
• Have experience analyzing various sized data sets to identify patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues.
• Should have some familiarity with various ETL tools.
• Experienced working with Tableau, designing and executing test cases specifically for Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Attention to details to identify any discrepancies and inconsistencies in design, code, and/or visualizations in design documents, code, and processes.
• Have ETL test automation experience, especially via the Query Surge automation tool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. The resource is involved in test planning, writing test cases and scripts, test case automation, and test execution, and documents all problems.
• Must possess effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across with business, SA, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Should be able to design, develop, and maintain test plans, cases, and scenarios for.
• Should be able to identify and manage defects and the defect management review process for DX analytics.
• Should be able to track defects using Jira and report on testing progress and results using Zephyr enterprise.
• Must provide regular status updates, reports, quality metrics, etc.
• Should be able to identify risks and provide mitigation suggestions/plans to keep releases on schedule; working with team members and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Should be flexible and work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with in Agile methodology.
